Not a Perfect Wedding, A Happy Wedding

I recently had the pleasure of doing a wedding this weekend for Anna and Issac Yu. It was such a wonderful experience to have another Korean wedding. It was also very unique because it was mixed with the Chinese culture as well, which is another favorite of mine. Well maybe I just love weddings in general. But to be at this wedding you have to understand the traditions. The women wear these beautiful Garbs and the men always stand up and introduce their family from another country. There is always a translator and there is always a mix of people from near and far. But the food is incredible. Yes, there is always kim-chi (hope I spelled that right) but the Fried portabella mushrooms in a thick sweet sauce, are amazing. Either way, I always feel blessed to be part of every culture from Persian, to Nigerian, to Hindi, to different religions to even my own heritages.  Yes I am Portuguese and Anglo-Saxon. When do we hire a consultant?

People always ask, "how many weddings does your company do on a weekend?" Seems like a rather logical question but it really isn't. There are so many components to it. We had one weekend where we did four with different consultants in just one day. Another weekend we did 3 with just one person and back to back weddings. My answer, it depends on the contract. Is it large or small? Are all staff available? Do we have any other contracts? Do they have many vendors or just a few? Not to mention all the other elements we could name. Wedding are all unique, just like the beautiful couples who get married in them. So never delay on hiring your consultant because as time goes on so do the number of contracts....
